Introducing New Stick Pack Design
See New Twin Stick Packs at Pack Expo Las Vegas in PTI Booth C-2207
Tuckahoe, New York (September 25, 2009) - PTI Packaging Systems will introduce for the first time in the U.S. Market, the Twin Stick Pack at Pack Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in Booth C-2207.
This new innovative design for stick packaging consists of a dual chamber stick pack to create product combinations such as sugar and spoon, salt and pepper, sugar and coffee creamer, shampoo and conditioner. Two complementary products can now be filled in a single package that keeps the
products separate until it’s time to use them. Contents can be either dry or liquid or even a combination of dry product in one chamber of the package and liquid product in the other.
Sanjeet Saxena, marketing manager for PTI, states "Stick packaging continues to rapidly expand into many markets. A new design such as the Twin Stick opens new product delivery opportunities and possibilities for many product combinations that will ultimately reduce packaging costs and provide added convenience of having two complementary products packaged in a single convenient stick pack."
The machine that produces Twin Stick is a vertical 6-lane stick pack machine manufactured by Schwarze Automation, known for their high performance, high efficiency stick pack filling machinery. Saxena added, "This machine will be exhibited at the upcoming Fachpack 2009 in Nurnberg Germany, September 29 through October 1. The dual chamber "Twin Stick Packs" will be filled with sugar and spoon at this exhibition in the Schwarze Automation Booth, Halle 3, Stande 407. Introduction of Twin Sticks is timely as we approach Pack Expo Las Vegas. We are very pleased that two principals from Schwarze Automation, Thomas Schwarze and Pavel Blazek, will be in the PTI booth to present and discuss this exciting new development in stick packaging. PTI will also showcase the Tstix® microperforated stick packaging machine, also by Schwarze Automation, at the show."
