PTI Appointed North American Distributor for Packon Liquid Filling/Capping Systems
Incheon-City, Korea and Tuckahoe, NY (November 17, 2006) – Pack Cheon Machinery Co., Ltd. (Packon) has appointed Packaging Technologies & Inspection (PTI) as their North American distributor for Packon liquid filling & capping systems.
Tony Stauffer, president of Packaging Technologies & Inspection, stated “Packon systems achieve high filling accuracy of +/- 0.1%, which is an exceptional rate. They have met the challenge of uncontrolled giveaway of product from filling deviation and eliminate the accumulated cost associated with this product loss. Packon offers rotary liquid filling and capping machines that use a 2-step net weight filling principle. The 2-step filling process is done first by rapid “mass flow” filling to achieve the target speed and then a second step “fine flow” to achieve high filling accuracy up to the last drop. Product filling applications include beverage, personal care and industrial products. Standard systems are designed for wash-down execution. For combustible products, explosion-proof configurations are available.
